Why do you charge for some of your services if you’re a not- for -profit company?

As a not -for- profit , MAXINE Debra CIC are not funded by the government. This means that we rely your donations and fees to expand and deliver the aims of our organisation.


Will you share my information without my permission?

We will not share or sell the information you provide to us however, there may be circumstances where we may be legally required to share your data by law.

I want to support the organisation, Can a volunteer or donate?

We always welcome support from volunteers and greatly appreciate donations.


Can you help me with a Homelessness application

We are able to support you with your housing application through our form filling service free of charge. We are also able to refer you through our urgent referral service where we can advocate on your behalf.


How do you use my data?

MAXINE Debra collects your data so that we can offer you impartial, confidential advice and support; Refer you to other organisations; Advocate on your behalf and Improve on our quality of service and training.

If you agree, MAXINE Debra may share your data with other companies so that they may offer their services to you. Examples of such organisations may be Local Authorities, Hospitals, General Practitioners or Solicitors.

When MAXINE Debra processes your request for one of our paid services, we may need to send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

Do you offer Business to Business Services?

MAXINE Debra CIC is committed to supporting members of the community who are struggling to cope with everyday stressors which life may present. It is for this reason that we do not offer academic and business writing services unless it meets the aims of our community interest organisation.


How can I request my data is removed?

You have the right to request that MAXINE Debra erase your personal data, under certain conditions. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at our email: data@maxinedebra.co.uk

Do you take Legal Instruction

MAXINE DEBRA CIC is a preliminary advice and support service only. The scope of the support we offer to the community is therefore limited. We do not take legal instruction from clients under any circumstances and therefore, do not accept liability for any decisions or outcomes following the advice and support we provide in good faith. Our service is designed to assist individuals who struggle to access advice and support due to financial hardship or emotional stressors. Using our service and expertise, could save you hundreds of pounds in legal fees as we can help to navigate most administrative systems without the need to instruct a solicitor. consider us to be the final step before litigation. If you require a qualified solicitor to take legal instruction, you must seek an alternative service as this falls outside the scope of our organisational objectives.
